L.C.F.A. delegation visits the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY)

The academic portion of our visit to China kicked off at one of the country’s most influential think tanks — the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY).

The meeting provided a valuable platform for exchanging insights on current global economic developments. During the discussions, both sides explored avenues for long-term academic partnership and institutional cooperation, focusing on three major outcomes:

• Master’s Degree Programs & Student Exchange. Detailed discussions regarding Renmin University’s master’s degree programs, highlighting the institute’s genuine openness to welcoming students, researchers, and young talents from Latvia into their academic community.
• Diplomatic & High-Level Engagement. An agreement to facilitate a high-level meeting between the Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to China and the Director of the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies (RDCY) to further strengthen diplomatic and academic ties.
• Joint Research & Future Projects. Establishing a framework for long-term cooperation on joint research initiatives, scientific exchange, and collaborative economic projects.

Following the official talks, the delegation was granted an exclusive guided tour of Renmin University’s historic campus, offering a firsthand look at the institution’s modern study environment, research facilities, and campus life.
